Can anyone help me to get a european type DECT cordless phone to be recognised on an analogue port of a DK16? I can use it to answer calls OK but its DTMF dialling is not recognised. I have manages as an amateur to program about everything else, but this has defeated me!

Martin, sorry not to be there when you posted. I have no idea what is the difference between a DECT phone and a 2500, as 2500 means nothing to me. DECT is a European standard for digital cordless phones. I am told it is the same as in the USA but with a different name. When I connect it to an analogue port of the DK16, I hear the dial tone OK and it can answer calls, but when I dial, the dialling is ignored by the system and the dial tone continues.

I think you will need a K4RCU card in your DK16 cabinet. Also in program 03 be sure the code for slot 00 is set to 92. Remember that if you change the code in program 03 you will need to turn the power off for 5 sec in order for the changes to take effect.

Thanks JBW. Programming prog 03 so that the code for slot 00 is set to 92 has cured the problem. Interestingly, neither the UK Toshiba manual nor the US one which I have downloaded makes any reference to program 03!
They go from prog 02 to 04.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Mr. Martin
I don't know Mr. Read. Thanks for helping so many people on this board.
