I have 2 stratagy DK voice mail cards.
The first one is a 4 port with a 1440 meg hard drive, Lot KY Rev C and it has two removable chips 009-0047 RevC and 009-0046 RevC
The space: 81:22

The second is an 8 port with a 420 meg hard drive, Lot G7 Rev- and the chips 009-0046 U35,V1.3 and 009-0046 U14,V1.3
The space 22:35

What would the cost be to change the 8 port to 4 port and the 4 port to an 8 port?
Would it be possible to up grade the bios on the existing 8 port to take the large hard drive?

Your best bet would be to use an aftermarket bios card to let the computer work with a larger hard drive, then clone the existing drive to a larger one.

The Stratagy is an inskin voice mail not a pc running voice mail

Jeff's right. Toshiba has to dial into the card and up(or down)grade the ports....remotely.

Thats the only way I know of to go from 4 to 8 ports, or from 8 to 4 ports.

Yes there is always a way for someone who knows how.

Sorry for the slow brain. You should still be able to clone the drive to a bigger drive to get more recording time, just keep the software for the 8 port on the 8 port hardware. If I remember, the Stratagy DK, flash, and computer based (except ES) vm uses DOS 6.22 or similar, which is limited to a 2000 meg partition, so that's the limit for recording time.
