We don't do a lot of Toshiba but have one long time customer that has issues with their DK 280. 2 cabinet system slot 21 and 22 have a digital pdku and analog rstu analog card. No ports have dial tone. Talk battery only. Programming shows cards assigned correctly. Any thing We may be overlooking????

if they are the only 2 cards in the cabinet
have you checked the fuses on the power supply and pushed in the little white ones
on the power
i had the same thing a while ago and it was the
cabinet it was old 280 /couldnt beleive it
you can also check the ribbon going to cab
1
out side shot sut down cabinet and reseat cards and connectors and check the main frame to make sure nothing like cleaning supplies on it

Slot 23 has a digital board that works. I can move the cards from 21 and 22 to other slots in the main cabinet and they work. I'm trying to see if their is anything else that is program dependant before I look at bad cabinet etc. Thanks.

Fuses are good. The cards have worked for over a year in that system. I don't mess with the Toshiba line often enough to know the programming inside and out. That's why I'm at some portion of the programming lost or bad cabinet\ribbon cable. Trying to bounce issue off other techs to eliminate program first.

I would double check those fuses KENB is talking about. There are 3 small white buttons sticking out the front of the power supply each one controls 2 slots. Power down the power supply pull the 2 cards out and see if you can reset the buttons you will hear it click if it resets. They usually go out for us during storms. Power up when you reseat the card listen if one of the cards is bad it will trip again.

Is it no dialtone only on the RSTU (analog) ports? Have you recycled the power on the main main cabinet?

Both digital and analog ports are inop. Analog has sidetone only. I'll have the tech recheck the fuses though... Thanks for the input guys.

Also check the Amphenol connectors and make sure they're in all the way.
