Hey folks, having some major problems installing MyPhoneManager on multiple computers. Every single time I get this error....

"Error 1720
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.
A script required for this install to complete could not be run.
Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information."

I have stopped all the firewall and virus process's, all PC's are WinXP Pro's with all updates installed from MS, E-manager is allready running on these computers (so MSsql is running), er I think thats all the details.

I get this error on an old P3 IBM laptop, a new Fujitsu laptop, and even on the server if I try and install it locally. Toshiba Tech Supports only idea was that the MS installer was out of date which its not on any of the machines.

Any ideas??? Anyone else having or had this problem?

If the laptop you are installing Myphonemanager on is on a domain login, you have to change it to workgroup. After the installation you can change the laptop back to domain.

I know enough to be dangerous with networking, but how can I jump from domain to workgroup and back in a nutshell?

Really apreciate your help.

Do so at your own risk.
