We have the Toshiba DKT 2000 Series phones and I set call forwarding to another ext the other day #601 - and the destination ext number.
To turn it off I did #601 and the original ext number from the original phone. Now the voicemail doesn't pick up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
Sorry I meant DKT 2000 Series
You will need to reset your forwarding to the voicemail again ie #602(busy) or #603(na)or #604(busy/na)and the vm pilot number and speed dial to save. This is assuming you have a DK system of some type.
One other thing...How can I find out my vm pilot number and speed dial to save? Sorry I'm so ignorant. No one in my office knows anything about the phones.
Thanks
This will take some investigating on your part, I could only guess - there are many ways to set up the vm pilot and I do not know what type of system you have. Go to a display phone and press the vm key - what ext number does the display say? ie if it is ext 401, then the pilot is probably 400. Call 400 to test, etc.
There should be a speed dial key programed on each phone - guessing again - you will need to check on the phones, try the main phone (ext 200?)for a key, might be labeled spd or sdial - some variation of that. Hopefully it is in the same location (key) on all phones.
Also try looking in the display of a forwarded phone it should read something like
XXX - YYY
XXX= extension number
YYY= voicemail pilot
This should be able to tell you what the pilot number is so you can reforward your phone. When you forward us #603 (CF no answer) or #604 (CF busy/no answer).
If you use #601 that callforwards all calls to the destination you assigned without ringing your extension.
