New install, latest software, customer has centrex from Verizon (they call it Centranet but it still sucks.)

Initial complaint was that redial would only dial some of the digits and I verified this in person. I changed the 1NXX settings, etc. by putting a 9 in front and extending the digits from 11 to 12.

This got rid of the lacking digits, but after pressing the [redial] button, the CIX100 was dialing several digits before Centrex was giving a live dial tone (the CIX 100 I believe is just slow accessing a line.)

I could only put two commas in the 91NXX (now 9,,1NXX) and that plus making the tones from 80 or 90 ms (whatever) to 180 ms (thus slowing down the digit dialing) gave me the option to select a line button and then hit [redial].

If I hit [redial], it grabs a line and several digits are dialed before the real centrex is live and the correct number is never dialed.

If I hit a line, then [redial], the correct number is always dialed.

Maybe someone has a better solution to this or maybe I have helped someone else with the same problem.

are you using LCR or does dial 9 grab a OLG ??
LCR would sound good as you have Centrex options in this part of programming. I'm still using those once in a while and they seem to be working good.
