What does it mean when "Sent" extension number. And how do I turn it off. Example is phone’s extension is 263, but displays “Sent 332â€Â. This is for DK424 system
Thank you,

Do you have a ext 332? This usually means you have sent a message to that ext, and the MSG light is lit.
Yes, we do have an extension 332. It is the overhead page number at a remote site. However, there is no message light on extension 263
The code #409 when dialed from the extension the message was sent to (332 in your case) will cancel the message sent feature.
I am told you cannot disable the ability to set a Msg Light on an extension. You can only disable the extention from sending a Msg light.
I think there is a code to turn off the sent message from the sending extension, but I only know the code to turn it off from the receiving extension.
I would imagine you could hook an analog phone to the port on extension 332 and disable it with #409. This is how I disable it on modem and faxe lines. The MSG light will make the analog phone card "tick", and a butt set or jimmy rigged analog phone will allow you to clear it off of your 66 or 110 block.
From ext.263, press Intercom+#64+332 and see if that does the trick.
Or from 263 dial int. 332+77.
Use prog 35 button 04 to turn this feature off. This is a per phone, so just range the entire system. And no, this does not stop the voice mail from being able to turn the message lights off and on.
Thanks to all of you for helping me. I used p2ii's medothed to remove "Sent 332" from display. I will go back and use mj_wald's suggestion to turn it off
