I have been playing with the VLAN tagging on the toshiba CIX200 with an LIPU
I got the 5000 series phones to work. but the 2000 series phones would not work with the tags.
Anyone ran into this before.
Anytime I call tech support..Toshiba will never admit they have a problem.
I did upgrade the LIPU and the 2008SDL to the latest and greatest firmware released

First do you have a Public static IP address for only the LIPU card, if the phones go thru the internet from offsite. Second has all the equipment been purchase from within Canada or the United States, the reason I ask is because in the past phones from Canada would not work with U.S. switches.

This is just on the LAN inside the office.
Static address LIPU = 192.168.171.200
phones = 192.168.171.100----110
VLAN 12

all purchased brand new from Toshiba.
HP Procurve switches POE 2650
IP Routing enabled
The only thing on that VLAN is the Toshiba CIX,
LIPU, iES32 Vmail, and 2 Toshiba phones.
One phone works 5000 series, and the 2008 set does not unless I untag the traffic on the port that the phone is plugged in on the HP switch.

Did you go into phone programming of the 2008 and specify the VLAN ID?
