I have had to reinstall eManager V5.10A07. I cannot log into eManager. Several install attempts. Completely wiping and reinstalling laptop several times trying to get either sql or eManager to load. Well i am now at eManager log in and i am getting:
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
Is this a sql error or a eManager permissions error

Here is a link to the microsoft support article about your error :
https://support.microsoft.com/kb/888228

I would suggest that you do one of two things

1. Have tech support help you from this point, if you can't fix that by yourself.

2. Uninstall that eManager version completely and install Network eManager

Also make sure one your ip is correct for talking to it. unless you are on a switch and it is also. 2 make sure the cpu port is not locked out. 3 log in through phone and make sure in 916 what the ip is. 4 make sure someone did not change the community name on you. good luck...

or as tec support always tells us do an upgrade then if you still have a problem call me back..lol!

This may be a silly question, have you put Emanager on your task(start) bar on your pc, i did and if i double clicked on the icon i got the same error, if i single clicked it started fine.
