I have a Toshiba DK96. CO lines are going dead and some displays are dead. If you push a line button, you hear a beep but no red light lighting up on the button.

I rocked the power switch and it works for about 2 minutes, but then same problem occurs with lines going dead. There are no in-use lights and the processor still has a heart beat. All while this is happening.... could the trouble be the processor, or a bad CO card or station card?
Welcome to the forum Exatt

First off (to get ya in the grove of things) TYPING IN CAPPS means your yelling..just so ya know.

I would power down and reseat the card connections..power it back up and let us know what lines and what extension #'s are going down.
Hi Exatt Tel and welcome to the forums!

That's good advice from test-ok, try that first.

It sounds like the processor is shot.

For better troubleshooting, are you able to tell us the quantity of cards and their names? ie - PEKU, PCOU, PSTU, etc.
I've powered down And My customer said is it FIXED. I'm uploading all the programming into my laptop using pro-com plus
When finished, same trouble call dropping off all lines all ports
It has a PCTU3 processor 7 PDKU 8 PCOUS 1 PSTU for
2 voicemail Amandas
Pull out all PCB's except for the processor, the first station card and the first CO card and retest. If it tests OK, then re-insert PCB's one at a time until a failure occurs.
@BobRobert - Exactly. Good suggestion! I would guess there's a bad PDKU or a backplane issue at this point.

@Exatt Tel - They have 8 PCOU?! Wow, they must have a lot of copper dial-tone! Have they looked into a PRI? It would have to save them a lot of money per month... enough to pay for a new system quickly!

Other than that, do you have a spare processor, incase that's the problem?
They have a MegaCom T1 for phones and internet
Four law firms share this system. Thats why they have a 20 year old system. ... who is gonna pay for what
Surely between two law firms they can afford a new system
Well, for starters... it would be many times easier to track who uses what with a current system. Detailed call records, down to the second could provide a monthly bill of who owns what.

Secondly, how do they split the cost for the internet currently?

BUT

Back to the original reason for the thread... did you find the problem, or do you have a spare processor?

Did you use DKAdmin to backup the data?
