As allways thanks for all the help on the Forum.Installed a system today cannot get the BPTU card to synch with the 30 channel PRI from our local supplyer. Aked them to put the CFC on and it seemed better question been what is CFC and can we on the programing switch it on and off on the Toshiba and what should we say to the supplyer on or off for the Toshiba.Normaly if all the lights are off on the BPTU and the synch light is flashing the line is up and working even after they put on the CFC my Synch light is flashing good sign but there is one light on Yalam/RAI see it means RAI is not receiving again not sure what this means but i cannot get the line to work can any one help please?

We also have the 30 channel PRI in the UK and Australia or a E1 its also known as.

Have you done a ISDN trace using the TTY cable attached to the BPTU card?
Did you set it as ETSI?
Did you tick channel 16 in the "B channel" program? (should be 1-15 and 17-31)

By the way Hi Neil it is Carl here in Sunny Aus

Have you tried a loop back cable sending the Tx to the Rx pairs and vice versa.
This will send out the leds on the card and the errors should go out as well.
Obviously you wont be able to make a call but it should put out all the leds
