Can I program a CTX 100 with a 2020 phone?

Yes, but limited because some programs and fields require eManager to get to.

I programmed my 1st CTX-28 through a phone because I did not have a network interface card (I know about the analog port now BTW). Very tedious.

Also, if you actually tried it, I would use a 3020 instead. The display reacts better.

Do you need the eManager program to program through the analog port? Is tht a serial port?

No, the analog port is used to access the modem.

I justed mented the analog port because last time I said that I programmed the entire system using a phone because there was no ethernet port, someone told me that I could have used the analog port to "dial in" to the system like a remote.

It still requires eManager to dialup remotely. All new systems now have built-in NICs, so this isn't nessesary (unless the NIC is broken).
