Hi Guys.

We seem to have an issue with Teleco's when using usd com port adaptors, i can get as far as the Screens login but when I try to enter a number in the which level field it just fails and goes to the Klinic prompt, the gui also fails.

Any ideas
Many thanks

I have never had any uck with USB to COM , I bought a PCM to serial, it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Ended up purchaseing a older laptop with a COM port

Yup you cant beat a com port. We used to use the USB equivalent but have always had issues. Toshiba tecra laptops still come with com ports and a few Dell machines also. Not much help but better than flogging a dead horse!

Hi Rob

The best one to get is the Aten UC232A
The trick is to get the correct drivers for it as the windows ones do not work correctly.
You have to install the driver from the disk BEFORE plugging it in.
check it out here

I can send you drivers if that is what you need.
Cheers
