I have a netwrok ACD client who was using the standard 2U MAS fro the ACD and it failed about a year ago and I replace dxit with a RAID5 MAS. All their custom VA recordings (only 4) were no longer there. When I had them try to record them the actual pormpts given weren' the same as as what the system admin guide indicated.

For example, the book says to log intot he VA port and enter the pilot number for the ACD. When I logged into the VA port I was prompted to enter the prompt number. I did this based ont eh book and had them record the 4 they will use and whne in queue they never come on.

What did I miss?

Amy
The prompt number is a combination of the ACD queue number and the type of message, such as the simple initial greeting. Most of them are in 2 or more parts. The Intial Simple greeting would have "Theank you for calling" and then part 2 "Please wait for the next available represenative".

I don't have the admin guide in front of me so I don't have any exaples of some prompt numbers.
Hi David -

The admin book says to enter the pilot number and then the greeting number; HOWEVER, when you log into the VA port you are only prompted to enter the greeting number, which I did and recorded the greetings. BUT they do not play whne an ACD caller is in queue - it is still the prompt ladies voice.

I nee to record the initial and primary greetings, parts 1 and 2. In their old ACD unit this worked fine. They now have a MAS RAID 5 unit and the ACD, NETserver etc. was updates in April of 2011.

Why do I not get the prompt to enter the pilot number and why when I record the greetings do they not play?
