I have a customer with a CIX 100 with GVPH. When leaving a message the prompt to press pound is played and when the caller does that they are transfered to reception. I have tried turning off the press pound option in system configuration but all that does is remove the menu after leaving a message. Any ideas?

When someone presses # after leaving a message I believe it follows the done chain for that mailbox, if no done chain is defined it follows the done chain for the main greeting, which I suspect is the reception in your case. You can set up a info mailbox, like 991 that gives instructions on what they may do now.
