Bottom Right button should be a fixed caller ID button right?
I just bought some used DP5130-SDL phones, never used them before, and found only 10 buttons are programmable. Well , not so bad since some of the other buttons are supposed to do features I'd normally program. But I can't get the fixed history button to work.....
I have I have FB39 set to Large display under DKT tab and BF17 has 80 in call history. Are ther any other hoops to jump through. Caller ID displays well if I put it on one of the flexible buttons. Help!

What version is your CIX? It's been a while but I thought the earlier software versions could only program 10 buttons.

What type of lines do you have? ISDN/PSTN/VoIP?

CIX40 AR5.10
Analog, AT&T POTS Lines.

One of these 5130SDL phones Backlit display was turned off. I had to look up the code to turn it on. The phone remembered this programming between systems. Is there any phone programming for the history button?

Version 5.10 was the first version that supported DP5000 series phones. I can't find the release notes for versions 5.10, so I'll have to go by memory. I remember that they enhanced the functions of the DP51310SDL. I don't think those 2 buttons on the left or right did anything at firsts. They later added the ability to shift to a second set of buttons.

I really believe that if you can get your system upgraded to the latest 5.20 version (and upgrade eManager as well) that he shift and CLID buttons will work.

David, Your memory is correct.

I have the correct version 5.2 of eManager but no real way of updating the CIX40.
I had another CIX40 with 5.2 and it confirmed what you thought.

Thanks for the help!
