I have a 4 port digital dispatch connected to a Triad 1 phone system. CO calls ring to station 100 with a CO preset call forward to 450 after 10 seconds. The customer never answers station 100, so the caller always goes to the AA (450).

The customer says that random callers reach the main greeting and try to enter an extension. When they do, the main AA greeting start playing again. No matter what they press, they keep cycling back to the main greeting.

I made a few dozen test calls (a couple on each co line) to test. Of course the problem never occurred.

Any thoughts?

Sometimes this happens to me when I call in and don't have a good cell signal. Have they noticed if it happens on land lines?

No, the customer seems to think it happens on both land and cell lines.

I increased the Vol in the VM registry and also on the digital ports. We will see if this works.

I had to do that for one perticular line once, it seemed to help.
