I've been tagged with figuring out the Vodavi XTS 3000 system that we have installed at our office. And I've been tasked (minus manuals) to find out how to do the following:

1)Increase the number of rings prior to the voice mail picking up. I am able to connect vi RS232 interface and get into Inskin successfully. However, I do not see any particular setting in Subscribers or in the BASIC or ADMIN profiles.


2)Be able to run the reports in Inskin Admin. Currently, I can set parameters for the reports, they all run up to the point where I get the downloading X bytes and Y bytes remaining screen. Eventually, X=Y and I would assume that I received the reports. However, that screen just hangs and never ends, with it saying 0 bytes left to download. I can't find any useful settings in report setup nor any errors in log files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you contacted the installing company to provide you help with this information? The manuals are not permitted to be distributed to end-users, so that's why they don't come with each system. They are only available to certified dealers.

Your request seems fairly straight-forward. Won't the installing dealer perform this change remotely for you? The programming change you are seeking is a parameter in the XTS system itself, not in the voice mail.
