Hello,
I was wondering if the Aleen voicemail will work with a STSe I saw in pbx selection in the voicemail the Vodavi Starplus analog and Vodavi Starplus digital are supported. I wanted to make sure that it will work before I tell a salesman to quote it
thanks

JCTSPHONE

Why are you wanting to use the ALEEN VM over the
inskin by VODAVI ?

I would say, you would get better integration with inskin.

FYI, there is a upgrade in beta now for the inskin, per VODAVI.

I've integrated the Vodavi DHS to the Aleen which the STS took the place of. All you really need are the Message lamp codes and transfer sequence strings. might take a little bit of thinking but i know you could get it to work. I am assuming that you are using analog ports?

Just about any voice mail using analog ports can be supported by the STSe. It has very strong flexibility with in-band signaling capabilities. I know that Panasonic and ESI Voiceworks systems work beautifully behind it.

Nice to hear smooth hook up with the Voiceworks.
I think i have 5 or 6 spares in office which i have removed from service.

Off topic, the vw-16 is something i hated to see go, as it was very easy to install, and maintain.

When i install the STS-E i still remove the VW
and install the inskin.

Inskin to come out with off site transfer to cell
etc., which is now in beta. (fyi)

I am a big fan of the Voiceworks and Voiceworks16 myself. I still don't know why ESI dropped them. If I could still get them, I'd be selling them like hotcakes.
