New customer, customer wants all calls ring to x127 and delay to AA if no answer. External no answer and external busy forward both set to 440. Problem: whenever x127 was off hook, calls went straight to AA, so I removed external busy forward and now the calls will not forward if x127 is off hook. I thought the External no answer timer would kick and forward call after programmed time.

How best to accomplish this, thanks

Use CO line preset forwarding in flash 40, pages B and C. This works independently of the station preset forward feature that you are using.

Preset CF is set to 440 (flash 40 B 5) and preset time is 20 sec (flash 40 C 8). What would override this setting or deny it? Calls continue x127 when offhook (busy). What timer is used, preset cf for the c.o. line or station cfna?

Just program the line(s) to ring at a second extension. You can even use an unused extension port, like 147. As long as the system thinks that two stations are ringing, then CO preset forwarding will take priority.

You can create an intercom key on ext 127 and then calls should follow the timer instead of going straight to AA
