My customer has a 48 port pathfinder, and all of the group lists got deleted by itself. Also, he says it may take 2 days to deliver a message. He said it has did this before. Any Ideas would be appreciated.
late message delivery is a typical voice mail problem, it doesn't matter who makes it. It happens with my cell phone a lot. Drives me crazy. By group lists, I assume you mean broadcast lists? I suspect anyting like that is due to some kind of file corruption. I suggest you delete dupicate messages and all log files. You do this through the pathfinder maintenance program. Then defrag the harddrive.
I also called tech support, and he said the system lists files are in the pathfinder/calllist folder.
There was not a folder there, he suspected someone accidentally deleted it.
Thanks for your advice, Derrick
Late delivery is usually corrected by defragmenting the HD.
They are using NT, pathfinder ver. 8.2.0
For some reason, the defrag utility is greyed out like it is not an option. How else could I do this?
Gerald, if you can't run the windows defrag, you may need to obtain a different one. You might check out
www.download.com. CNET is usually a safe site.
Any IT guys want to chime in?
