Hello I have a vodavi xts phone system and I am trying to add an ip phone model number

Vodavi/Vertical Triad XTS-IP 3012-71 Executive 8-Button Display Speaker Phone

at a offsite location and was wondering if someone can assist me in this install. I have installed an additional nic card.

Thanks for your help

Specific support would be best provided off-line by one of the members for a modest fee. However, the general overview after you have assigned the card slot to the VoIB and obtained a static IP address for it, is to allocate the desired Trunk/station setting. Then assign a valid station number to the board. Station programming is where you enter the MAC address of the phone. You enter the static address of the KSU into the IP phone itself. There are lesser items to address but this is the basic structure.

Ryan, the 3012-71 is not an IP phone, it is a regular digital set. It cannot be used anywhere except connected directly to the system.

Vertical can provide you with dealers in your area by calling 877-837-8422 or www.Vertical.com .

The IP on the label just doesn't tell the whole story does it?
