I received a call from a customer who got my company name from this site. They are having a problem with their inskin PF ignoring single digit dialing. All menus act as if all keys are extension start keys.
The voice mail is set up for KSU clock control and the menus are changing according to the viewport window anyway, however all menus are behaving the same way. They can't figure out how to re-record any menu greetings because you can't set up a record prompt key and have it work.

This is a new one for me, any ideas?
Why should they have to? Are they going into the vm with the vm pw & go from there to record the greetings. They still will need to have a lap top to go into admin & see how it is set up.

Other than that they might just have to blow it away & start new.

When the old digital Dispatch/Talkpath lost the first digit, we used to add the registry value DVMIntroVol= -6.
I don't have a PF handy to determine if that same registry value applies here.
It isn't the same problem as not hearing the first digit....in this case it sees all first digits as the first key of an extension no matter how the CCR is programmed. I am pretty sure the VM has corrupted database files.

I see your calling it a CCR now instead of a menu is this an ISKIN Flashmail or INSKIN pathfinder?

inskin PF
Now I'm a little confused. Was the XTS flash VM also called PF? I thought only HD versions were PFs and never installed an XTS Flash. I didn't want to put in a crappy flash VM in a good system like the XTS.

It is a Pathfinder, but menu, Custom Call Routing, effectively the same thing.

The system has corrupt database files. It can be fixed but takes some planning.

I know they are both the same thing but wanted to check because I have had a similar issue on the Flash and initializing it fixed it.

And now that I know it is a PF I would have to agree with corrupt DB files. I had one not to long ago when you would end up in a mailbox it would be the wrong extension greeting but if you left a message it would end up in the correct mailbox. And that was from corrupt DB files.
