For CCR1 have 4, 7 and * set to extension 100. If caller enters 4 get message "You have entered too few digits, Enter the extension number of the party you are calling". If caller enters 7 or * call goes to station 100. Reinitialized VM and entered all the data, still have the problem. All other CCR1 selections work fine, only 4 has a problem. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks.

Wasn't "4" the default "Dial-By-Name" digit? Might check for that under "PBX Integration".

The programming manual shows Dial By Name Digit: 4
Since I reinitialized the VM it is probably set to this.
How can I disable Dial by Name?
We are using 1 through 0 on the CCR. Can this be set to * or # and First Digit Permission on the CCR set to N?
It seems to me that the Dial by Name Digit would need to be set to something that is not used on any CCR if there is no disable parameter. Thanks for your help!!!

Find the digit "4" under PBX Integration. Press F4 to delete it. (Going from memory here, so I could be wrong.)

F4 on the PBX Integration page deleted the 4 in the Dial by Name Digit field and the CCR now works as programmed.

Thanks for your timely expert help!!!
