I have a customer who has a Vodavi 612 system with a Dispatch voicemail analog system. Their system lost programming the other day. I have reprogramed the system with one issue. They use to forward station 1oo offnet to a cell phone number within the offnet fwd to speed bin location. I have set this back up to the best of my knowledge but it does not work. Call comes in AA answers caller dials 0 operator operatpr is fwd offnet to speed bin 25, the system places me on hold grabs a line them repeat main greeting this continues if I dial 0.
Thanks
The extension setting in AA needs to be set to blind transfer.
Edit: But if you didn't need to reprogram the Dispatch, check these items:
1. Does the speed bin work all by itself?
2. Does a manually transferred call to "0" follow your off- net forwarding?
yes I can dial 0 from a phone and it dial the off-net number just fine.
I seem to remember that there was a bug with the dispatch that would not let you transfer a call directly to an ext fwd station. You have to transfer to an extension that is no answer forwarded to the ext forwarded phone first.
could you go into more detail
no answer forward the 0 extension to another phone that is external forwarded to the speed dial number.
