This my first time on VM integration for a DHS system, what are the digit strings for: ICM PREFIX, XFR PREFIX, RECORD DIGIT, ICM SUFFIX, XFR SUFFIX, and DIS DGT. The program manual shows the parameters of being 0000-9999,****,#### with default as EMPTY.
It depends on the voice mail system...those tables have to have digits to tell the vm what box number when leaving a message and box number when retrieving a message and the owner key so it will ask for password. The Talkpath and Dispatch installation manual has all the info to program the integration for the DHS.
OK, I got the info from the manual but am still having some issues. If this was an xts I would be gone in 60 seconds. When I call in on a CO line it still isn't forwarding to the auto attn and when I call an extension, it doesn't give me the greeting for that ext.
You have to set the co line preset forwarding to the voice mail group and do the same thing with each phone. You might need to grab a dhs manual for that info.
You have to preset forward the CO line to a hunt group for the AA to answer. As for the extension being called directly, it won't answer unless the phone is forwarded to voice mail after no answer.

David
Draynor is correct. Each user must forward their phone to voice mail. There is also a code to remove the LCD forward display if desired.

Assign analog stations as VM stations in station programming to enable DTMF.

Put the stations into hunt group 82.

Call Handling is where you will program "Preset Forward - CO Line Preset Call Forward".
OK, I was able to get calls to preset forward to voicemail auto attendant. I was also able to set up the extension to bsy/NA forward to voicemail. The only issue now is when i call in and let the AA answer, if i dial an extension or hit an option to go to an extension, the extension only rings once then disconnects. On the voicemail integration, I set it as generic 2 digit with blind xfer
It might help if we knew what voice mail system you are using. In general, I prefer to use blind transfer.
The analog Dispatch/Talkpath has an option for DHS/DHSE.
Bill (Deltron) is correct. If you are using a Dispatch voice mail, you should have set it for system type 106 and not generic. If you do it now, you will reinitialize the entire database. But if you don't, you will have to find another dispatch voice mail, set it for DHS and then comb over all its registry files to identify the differences and change them. Myself, even with a spare dispatch, I would rather change the type to DHS and let it reinitialize. Sorry.
