Background: Starplus STS 3515-71 stations and 3500-00 KSU. Had No Sync message on all the stations. 3.6v Battery was good and defaulting settings made no change. Noticed a few bad caps by transformer on KSU and replaced them but did not help. Replaced KSU with our spare and now system is back up except for stations 103 thru 107. Those stations display nothing (they do with original KSU). Does not appear to be the phones because they work at other locations. The other stations that work are 100-102 and 108-112 (on extra DTIB). FLASH 24 shows port 0 being DTIB. I see nothing in FLASH programming to enable specific stations. Do we just have two bad KSUs?

First thing is to check your 25 pair champ connector on the ksu..it will slip out enough to kill the bottom half of the numbers and still look okay, like it is in the slot. If you are using pre connectorized blocks, make sure to check both ends of the station cable.

If the cable is snug then the system should have defaulted all first eight stations. They are all on the back plane, as long as the extension numbers are not flexed. You might try reprogramming the card slot and then do a simple reset of the system. If that doesn't do the trick you could very well have some bad ports.
