Customer wants to add flash voice mail to delete tele marketers call, 20 to 25 each day.

During the day A.A. message dial 0, 0 to hunt group to ring several, phones.
After hours i guess they could dial 1 go to ext 100 with a greeting to leave a message.
Employees are not assigned to any certain extt . Store manager would use ext 100. hey need this as simple as can be. They are amish with mostly amish customers.
any other options let me know.
thanks gary s.

Gary, just use the usual CO line ringing programming, flash 40, page A for the regular stations' ringing, then use the preset forward function, flash 40, page B. There, you can establish the overflow destination extension (440), and assign a mailbox to take the messages. I would imagine this mailbox would be 100. On page C, you can set the time limit you want the lines to ring before this occurs.

Those are good suggestions, but won't try to eliminate tele market call.
I was thinking to have the A.A. answer. Main greeting to reach a associate dial 0 ring hunt group 450 ,6 phones in that hunt group. Tele market cannot dial 0 ,then that call disconnects and does not go to station pesting emnployees. But after hours ring hunt group 450 then preset ringing to 100 with a greeting on that ext.. Is my thinking correct ??

Sure, this would work, but it sounds as if your customer doesn't want AA answering during the day. Unfortunately, that's the only way to address his complaint. I'd have 0 from the auto attendant ring X100 and then put call coverage buttons on all other phones for X100 that you want to ring on incoming calls. Better yet, have it transfer to ext. 0 and designate your attendant station(s) in flash 10. That way, you don't have to drag out a laptop to change this setting later, if needed.

Using a hunt group results in the permanent 'HUNT GROUP XXX' message on the associated phones' displays, which I hate. Besides, by using call coverage buttons, this allows the customer to add or remove members from ringing on incoming calls without a truck roll. This is since call coverage buttons are a user-programmable feature.

You're right though... If he wants to avoid telemarketing calls, the only way he can circumvent them is to have the AA answer all calls. I get the impression that the Amish community wouldn't be too keen on that much technology for a simple phone call.

Incidentally, I always put my VM ports in HG450 so that I can direct lines to them without any VM conditions applied.
