I recently moved offices and upon re installing my Elite 48 system I have lost the function of transferring a call outside of the system. It was set up where if a call came in and we needed to transfer it to a sales person outside of the office we would press the "recall" button and dial the number of the salesperson and then hang up. It is no longer working. Any help would be appreciated.

First thing is to check with the local provider and make sure they move the centrex features to the lines in the new location, many times they don't move your features unless you actually tell them to. I know it's a no brainier but you would be surprised at how many times they do it.

hookflash time selection is in 1-2-02
(how long to do the hook flash)

other than that the recall should work

I've come up against NEC a few times and thinking about becoming a dealer.

Can you tell me, when this feature is working, how do you program the number the call is being forwarded? Can you change it
i.e. this hour to my cell phone, next hour to my house? Also, is it simply a pass through or does the remote extension have feature capability? Can I tranfer calls back to another extension in the system?
Conference with another ext in the system?
Access VM?

forwarding is done by speaker 41 (forward all) then the number

if going off premise (has to be allowed in class of service) then do 9 + number

you can't change it remotely

the forwarding via a hookflash isn't done thru the system
