Has anybody ever heard of this system?
In my database of old systems--I just have the 616 Electra. Perhaps the Ranger is a brand new system. Do you remember the Patrician? The one that I remember seeing once seemed to be the size of a good sized desk.
Yes I remember the Patrician, but like you I have never hear or seen this 616 Ranger.

Some NEC products are private labeled "Ranger" for sale in Australia.
Do you know what the DK616 (Ranger) would be in our country?
If I am not mistaken I believe the Ranger series was close to the E-Pro I or maybe the Nitsuko Portrait.
