WE HAVE 3 NEC ASPIRES - 1 IS AN S NETWORKED TOGETHER. ALL HAVE CRASHED. WHEN WE UNPLUG FROM THE NETWORK EVERYTHING SEEM FINE
WHEN WE HOOK THEM BACK UP TO THE NETWORK THEY ALL LOCK UP. ANY ADVICE?? WE'VE BEEN ON PHONE WITH NEC FOR HOURS - NOT MUCH HELP.

If NEC tech support can't help you I don't know who can bro. Can ea system run on it's own or don't you have redundancy? The ONLY think I can imagine is that you are networking via IP and you have an IP conflict on one or all the systems. I have seen the main processor hose up on an Aspire because of this. I would disconnect the system from the network and let them run and do a FULL network check to make sure your IP addresses haven't changed or some other thing. I would also find out if anything has changed, network, switch, router.

Good luck but NEC is probably the way to go.

if you are confortable with an IP scanner then plug on in and see what the net traffic is like. I agree sounds like IP conflict.

Free scanner such as Ethereal would be fine.
