Recently Installed DS2000. Banging My head on the wall concerning paging. I have the door box working and the relay switch, (using co line). All extension programming, buttons (speed dial , hotlines, co lines etc... all good). I have been trying to get the external paging to work for the warehouse,(using horns and power supply) using correct pair from cpu mod. Speakers have hissing sound, (getting power) but when I try to page in to the zone, (have even tried a page all) nothing nathan notta. Was wondering if the wisemen (or ladies) here can steer me in the right direction as far as any kind of programming etc... that i may have missed. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume you are connecting your paging port on the DS2000 to a paging system that requires DTMF input to select a zone. The paging port on the DS2000 is not designed to do that - they assume you are connecting directly to a paging amp.
You will have to use a co-trunk port connected to your paging system. Also, your paging system will have to supply talk battery back to the trunk port so that DTMF tones can be transmitted. Also, it would be a good idea to put the trunk port into a group by itself (for example, group 98) and remove the trunk port from other groups. This will keep sets that have "Line" as their prime line setting from automatically selecting trunk you are using for paging.

Can you hear the page with a butt set on the page pair?? Which pair are you using off the cpu? Could have a bad modplug too!
