Well if you didn't change out the memory battery, then this will happen again.

The system looks at all the cards when it powers up and assigns the extensions in ascending order from the first ESI card it sees.

More than likely your original install had some cards added later and the extension numbering was changed.

Best hope is that all your stations are display sets and you can go to each set and press the FNC/Feature key dial 4 and find out what port they are on and renumber.

By default only the first 2 stations are assigned to ring on the first 8 lines, but if you did a copy of either one of those stations to all the other ports and if you have a SLT card in there then it is trying to answer.

I found that we had a ESI card in Cab 1 and it is bad so when the system came back up in 7-1 that card is there and I can't change it to non.Tried a 8-8 no use.The battery is solder on the cpu board, but for the last 4 hours I have powered down and up over 20 times and it keeps the same time. Can you tell me how to do a hard reset or first intialization.
