anyone had a Electra Pro II have ext showing different ext numbers after system shut down ?

Only if the numbering plan had been changed, system lost power and the memory battery was dead. System would reboot as default.

Is that memory battery a common pc battery?

it should be a 3.6 volt nicad battery if i am not mistaken. it is on the CPU.

Is it soldered in or can it be replaced fairly easy?

It is soldered on, it can be replaced but usually takes 30-45 minutes to take the board out de-solder the existing battery and install the new battery.

just call them and tell them what you need. they know.

as for taking the board out....it's a card...should slide right out. 2 seconds.

soldering......10 minutes if you've done it before or 20 minutes if not. not rocket science.

(in my best homer voice) mmmmmmm.....molten metal
