The Features and Specs Manual doesn't say that there's any special programming for Redial so that the last 10 numbers can be reviewed - like Stack Dial on the 2000. But for some reason, I was unable to repeatedly press Redial to review the last 10 numbers called. I could only press Redial and # for the last outside number.

My technicians upgraded an Elite 192 to an IPK II but they keyed everything in like new, rather than convert the DB. Base cabinet is an IPK II cabinet but the top two are Elite 192 cabinets...could that be the issue?

Any light shed is appreciated!! smile

The IPK II software and programming is a completly different animal than the IPK.

From the Multiline user guide:

Last CO/PBX Number Redial
1. Without lifting the handset, press the Redial key.
The last dialed number is displayed.
2. To redial the last number, press #.
OR
Search for the desired number from the Redial List by pressing the Redial Softkey or VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN keys.
3. Lift the handset or press Speaker to place the call.

Just as a matter of interest . Has any one actually used the Elite SAT conversion utility to convert a IPK1 to a IPK2??

Not yet, but, may have candidate soon. I have heard through the NEC website forum that you will have to expect to do alot of re-programming!

My evil plan is to go get their database via sat & key it into the cpuII via pcpro...

I know how to make the Redial feature work...however it's not working. Is there something that has to be enabled in programming to get it to work?

My technicians have used the SAT conversion utility to upgrade from IPK to IPKII...but you're right, there is a LOT of re-programming to do. I think there's a ETI (or whatever the equivalent is) that tells you what blocks will need changing...

your best bet would be to rekey the cpuII, you spend more time looking for issues rather than doing all from scratch, thats just my opinion!
