Put in Dsx80 4 x 7 with intramail.Everything was working ,
then you call in x300 rings ,attendant answers, you dial x302 ,hear ringing ,302 doesnt ring ,300 continues to ring ,then an answer like
calling an intercom station with H/F answer ,then cut off ???

Changing cpu and mail tomorrow ,anyone ever see this ,tech support says all programs as they should be

This is a new one for me, Ken, and I've programmed quite a few of these now. I'd sure like to know what the answer is once you find out in case I run across it. Sounds like a hair-puller-outer.

I have had 1 bad intramail card that would only sporadically recognize dialed digits even with it all upgraded to current revisions. We had to replace the flash card on that and it fixed the issue.

It sounds like it is mixed up with the answering machine emulation.

NEC Support team is great to deal with. I'd love to have gotten my hands on that machine for future reference... apparently it needs a sound talking to.

Glad you could get it going Ken. :thumb:

Ken,

Was anything changed in system numbering plan?
I ask because one of our customers IT guy took over system programming, he change some of the station numbering and left 4 ports blank (no extension number), the system started acting a little on the flaky side. Engineering said you cannot not have any blanks in numbering plan.

Now this was on the DS2000 but my guess it's the same with the DSX
