Customer has IPK and will be expanding to add about 8 additional lines and 8 stations. I was thinking there is a way to determine existing port capacity, and when to add the PKU chip.

I think I used to do it by going into MB 7-1 and assign the necessary cards .... then see if I get an error message. Isn't there a simpler way?

Yes There is a Simpler way, Connect with Sat Program and Download Database, Go to System Config. And You'll be able to see the Ports, Easyer to Count. The IPK without PKU is 16x32 Max, and with it 64x120.

Ah-h-..that's why I couldn't remember the easy way.. I hate slapping the laptop on the KSU. Us "OLD" phone guys can only handle programming through the phone....just the way Alexander Graham Bell intended . :-)

Thanks for the tip
