WAY INOVERMYHEAD I HAVE ZERO EXPERIENCE SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME,I WOULD LIKE TO INSTALL A AMPLIFIED PA SYSTEM OR INTERCOM SPEAKER TO MY PHONE SYTEM I THINK THE CORRECT MODEL IS NEC DTERM 80.I HAVE A REPAIR SHOP THAT IS LOUD DURING WORK HOURS AND THE LITTLE SPEAKER IN THE PHONE IS NO USE FOR THE GUYS TO BE ABLE TO HEAR A PAGE.JUST ASKING SHOULD I JUST DO THE RADIO SHACK PA SET UP.I KNOW THE PHONE SYTEM I HAVE HAS A LOT MORE FEATURES THEN I WILL EVER NEED OR USE.
The DTERM 80 is the phone set model. YOu need to look at the KSU (main box) of the phone system and see which model that is - then post here. There will be a paging output on the system, and if you are comfortable hooking up an external paging amp and speakers, it shouldn't be too hard.

Elite IPK will support external paging. As Toolie said, find the paging output and hook up your paging amplifier and speakers as per the diagrams that come with it.
The built in page output is on the right side of the KSU (big purplish NEC box) it is a RCA connection labeled ext. The other one is labeled moh for a message on hold input. Plug in your page equipment to this & dial extension 55 from the intercom on any phone.
