I'm cutting over my customer from one analog / voip provide to a new one.

I have a problem however... The new VoIP provider does not provide Caller ID - and requires that the PBX / Voip gateway send caller id...

Is the SV8100 able to send caller id on the analog ports? I.e. 4COTB (Central Office Trunks)...

From what I read only ISDN / PRI / VOIP on the SV8100 can do outbound caller ID / CPN.

I don't think I can force it on the COTB lines? :bang:

Don't know if it will work but maybe you can try MB:21-18 or 21-19.

SV8100 cannot send caller ID info over analog trunk ports.

Are you saying you can't get the new provider to supply "any" outbound name assignment to the trunk? That would be unusual. Otherwise, have the provider "label" that trunk individually if necessary, but you certainly can't "outpulse" CID by station on analog trunks and change it on the fly from your end like you can a PRI

I think what Dans is saying that you can not send on an analog trunk the CLID info in 21.13, 21.18 or 21.19. The called party will only see CLID that is on the billing number..
