Google RJ61 and you will see color pictures. Basically the center pair is the first extension, then next outer two are the second etc. So it would go 1-8,2-7,3-6,4-5.
thank you very much for reply
i have to use 8 extension with one cable, how can i do that
Four extensions per RJ45 plug.
Two RJ61's for eight (eight extensions )
sorry, i need total 16 extensions as i am having only 2 ports on the analog card
You must have an 8 port card then.
BTW, they do make tails for this from NEC so you don't have to crimp ends on wire for 25 pair tails.
1st, what kind of card is it? In what kind of NEC system? 2nd, RJ45 is a Bell System designation. An 8-pin modular pinout is dictated by the manufacturer based on their "nomenclature". Please provide more details on your situation.
Grab it by the tail, and run. Let the discussion begin ......
