Make sure there actually is disconnect going on. Call the system from outside and see if it quits ringing soon after you hang up.

You can also monitor one of the lines with your butt set, call that line with your cell, hang up and you should hear the disconnect order, if you hear silence only the problem is with the provider.

Transfer to voice mail: press DSS key, dial 8 hang up. Or press transfer, extension number, dial 8 hang up.

Thank you , have one more question- private calls are being blocked, where is the setting for this ?

What do you mean private calls are being blocked? Has the system been programmed for caller ID? If so are some calls showing caller ID and others showing private call? If that's the case the call coming in displaying private did not send caller ID info thus the system is setup to display private call.

There is a feature in the SL and SV systems called "Caller Refuse" where by incoming calls with CLID blocked "Private Call" can be blocked from entering the system. I'm away so can't point to the feature in the feature manuals. It works here on analog trunks but not ISDN (bummer) :-))

Caller Refuse is in feature manual under Caller ID - Flexible Ringing. No trunk limitation mentioned, just based on CID.

We had this discussion with NEC-J back in 2011. Down here the ISDN does not carry the "Private Call" feature set and just displays a blank CLID so no Caller Refuse feature. The Japanese ISDN does carry this feature hence it's development
