Hi everyone,
I have an installation of sv8100 with 40 digitel and 12 analog extensions.Two pstn lines are connected to system and group 1 is line 1, group 2 is line 2. Line number 2 is working perfectly and it is ringing at programed extension without any trouble. Line number 1 programed for 13 extensions to ring , but it will ring one or two times only. it is not ringing contionusly.but the button led gives red. after some times the same will repete ringing for two times. what will be the program mistake.
Thanks,

Do you have group 2 in a different timer class?

Both lines are in same timer class.

You need to check settings under 22-XX and match up with the lines that are working.

line 2 is working fine without any complint. so i shifted line 1 to 2nd port(line 2 port)for testing. still i am getting same result.after two or three rings the ringer will stop. I have disconnected the line from PABX and checked the same line connected with direct analog telephone also. In analog telephone there is no any complint. it is ringing continusly.
Thanks

You need to change the type of trunk to DIL in command 22-02
then go to command 22-07 and put the pilot number of the group against the trunk

or Try with this command 81-01-09
Default=63 try different value here e.g. 68, 72, 58

check if you enable caller ID on the trunks doesn't has caller ID from provider

Man says he put line into a Known Working Port, still has problem and problem follows LINE. Problem in line.. HE did not say if line 2 worked ok in port 1.

Problem port 1. PORT 2 ok. Moved line 1 to port 2, problem follow line. Should also put line 2 in port 1 and test.
