Hello,

We have UM8000 voicemail, that used to forward voice messages via email to Exchange 2003. Recently deployed Exchange 2010. While the connectors on Exchange 2003 were present, we used to be able to receive voicemail via email even after I pointed the users to Exchange 2010 server from UM8000.
Server Type: IMAP

Authentication: Plain Text

Server Name: Exchange 2010 box

Port: 143

Ever since removal of connectors from 2003 (which we are in a rush to decommission) we are no longer getting messages via email.
I see errors 17664 in logs.
I`ve tried IMAP, POP. I created Relay on Exchange 2010 with variations of settings, but nothing seems to work yet.
While the Exchange 2003 is still around (but no longer used), I see messages from UM8000 in the queue piling up, however since the Exchange connector is gone, they are not going anywhere anymore. Not sure what I'm missing and why messages still keep going to Exchange 2003 and not 2010 server.
I stopped and restarted the UM8000 under Server Control. Verified that Voicemail system has the correct DNS settings etc.
I tried using server name, tried using the IP address under User`s profile in UM8000 (System --> Configuration --> E-mail settings), verified that server type selected is SMTP, correct server name of EXCH 2010, port 25, Authentication = Login, correct User Name and password for Voicemail AD user account and still not having any luck.
Anyone has any ideas or instructions for UM8000 and Exchange 2010 email settings ?
Thank you in advance!
2010 needs to have SMTP relay connector setup for it to work. This is different from 2003. Just google it.
hey there. Yes, I did create the Receive connector on Exchange, but no luck there. Do you happen to have a link to specific instructions ? Thank you
We had a similar issue. Our solution was to set Authorization to "Plain" and uncheck the "Use Authentication" block.
Hello,

I have a user on a UX5000 that has a trouble where the vm is not carrying over to outlook. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this ?
