We have a customer that bought a Ploycomm CX5500 IP unit and wants it hooked up to their SV8100. I have never done this before, we do have the IP card and licenses for this system. They are using both IP and digital phones on the system. I have looked up on NTAC for any sheets on the programming but I was not able to find this unit. Has anyone hooked up this unit to a SV8100?

You need a 3rd party SIP license. Look at that setup.

All kinds of docs on the NTAC site regarding Polycom FYI.

Just to give you a heads up, the Polycom IP 6000/7000 basic configuration guide will work with the CX5500 Video conference unit. Their is no specific document on NTAC for the CX5500. To get the system to dial out correctly through the SV8100 you have to go in and change the dial strings for the way you have the SV8100 setup.
