I am having an issue intermittently where a call will come in, the user goes to answer the call, no one is there, they hangup and the phone continues to ring with the same caller id, they pick up and can talk to the caller. I was able to capture a wireshark capture on the call, here is what is shows.

Invite to the SV
100 trying
180 ringing )Here is where the user tries to answer the call the first time)
Request Cancel from the SIP Server to the SV
200 Ok from the SV
487 Request Terminated from the SV
Invite again
100 trying
180 ringing (user Answers again)
200 Ok
Call is now in progress.

Has anyone come across this and is there anything that can be done on the SV. Carrier original claims their capture show the far end hanging up but that is not the case. They are still looking into it but I wanted to see if maybe someone out there has had this similar issue and what the resolution was. Carrier has a managed router on site which is the SV's gateway. Very frustrating.
I had a similar issue and I changed the Codec for SIP trunks and come back to normal.

As well, try to change the Carrier (MB 10-29-14) and check f it's still happen.

did you set up your DSP resources? that is where your voice packets come into the system........ if you do not have this setup u will get no audio. also be sure you have all your ports forwarded.........

changing the carrier codes just affects the caller ID. that's all
