I'm not a phone tech but just curious if this is something I can do and where can I find it in webpro. When we receive a call, the caller id shows just the area code and number but not the prefix 1 that we need in miami to just about call any number. So, if we do a redial it doesnt work. We actually have to write the number down and dial it with a one first. Appreciate any help and I did try to go through my vendor who promised he'd look into it and never has.
Look in options in 15-XX should be something about additional dial. If you don;t see it or have access to 15-XX where this is you will need your vendor.
The initial "1" signifying that you wish to make a long distance call is only for dialing out, it is not part of your caller id from the local carrier and will not display. An NEC tech can program the system to insert the initial "1" for you when dialing/redialing, but it would require a list of all the area codes that do not need the "1" and could change with the addition of new area codes & would require service calls to add the additional area codes when needed.
