I have done this successfully with a PRI installation, but was wondering if it is possible with analog lines. My customer would like calls on two separate numbers to be answered with two different greetings. However, after navigating the DAT for each line and being routed to two different Virtual extensions (251 or 252), on an RNA condition they would like the calls to be forwarded to one mailbox. So whether the call goes to extension 251 or 252, they want the call to go to mailbox for 251. Setting Forward and Transfer settings to 3999@251 does not work for extension 252 as it does with a PRI.

Try call forward fix setting from 252 to 251
Use 47-10 to send the call to different answer tables to play a different greeting. Then use 47-11 to send the two answer tables to the same subscriber mail box.
I have the answer tables set up for the greetings, but the issue is that the call has to be given the opportunity to be answered by either Extension 251 or 252 before going to voicemail. But when it does go to mail, they want it to go to a common box.
Without remaking the programming wheel to make this work, make a routing mailbox 252 with 1 second of silence and a DAT table with a timeout to 251 with 1 second.
Just want to clarify CT, and I will call this one 'too much trouble to deal with". If I employ your suggestion, if a call comes in and the customer chooses option 2 for service 'A', the call will go to 251, and the girls will answer with, "Service A how can I help?". If they choose 3 for service 'B', the call will go to 252 but then route to 251, and the girls will still answer "Service A, how can I help?". They only want it to go to mailbox 251 if they do not answer the ringing VE 252. I think I will just have to program a button for each VE, and a button for each VE mailbox right next to it.

What is their reason for 1 mailbox?
It's basically for convenience and button real estate. The company has two divisions and deals with elderly people. They are concerned that if they combine both names in the main greeting that it may confuse callers. So they want separate greetings, and separate VE buttons so they can live answer the call appropriately, but if it goes to mail, the same staff deals with both divisions, so they wanted a generic greeting in a common mailbox.

What Coraltech is telling you is Make Virtual 252 timeout to a Call Routing MBX and then set for 1 second of silence and timeout to MBX 251. It would never ring 251. His suggestion will work and is exactly what your describing you want.

VE's do not need physical buttons, saving button real estate, to differentiate the calls give 251 and 252 different ring tones, assign in-skin voicemail buttons for 251 and 252, record the same greeting in each mailbox.

If they have voicemail to email license you can assign the same email address to each mailbox, this would eliminate the need for voicemail buttons 251 and 252, again saving button real estate.

Is that true on the 2100? I know that there are a few differences from the SV line.

Coral that is a good questions, I was assuming the SL2100 could.

pretty sure on the 2100 your allotted 48 buttons and Virtual can be used on the unused buttons.

Each extension has 48 buttons available. VE's can be placed on buttons that have no physical access. Remember to assign the VE to ring.
So CT and Oobie, I read and re-read your posts. Tell me if these are the right changes to make:
24-09 VE 252 CFNA to 3999
47-02 Delete mbox 252
47-03 Change mbox 3104 to 252, make it a Routing box, and use route box 4
47-08 Route box 4 uses DAT 4 and a 1 second timeout
47-13 DAT 4 has just one entry Timeout = Recording1 251

Will that do it?
