I have a remote VoIP office,we are using Sip trunks, customer would like to have conference unit, similar to a Polycom IP7000. Any suggestions on how to pull it off?
I believe you’ll need 3rd Party SIP Extension License BE116746 and available IP resource
Licence is installed.. Anyone installed a 3rd party IP device on a SL2100 ?
I would think just like any other SIP phone. Need the ext number, IP, port (5070), and password if any.
On sl2100 side create new ip extension with password xxxx
I’m not familiar with polycom phones, but I think all you need to set is
Sip server address - IP address of sl2100
Sip port - 5070
Username - extension number
Password - xxxx
All of the sip stuff that I deal with the port is 5060. I don't know if NEC is different.
Thanks for the suggestions. After getting it to work, there was a lot more to it .
