NEC DSX 34b phone. I know it's old, my company won't get new. A part timer was on my phone for a week and now she's gone & my line 1 says "Enter Group Number".
I can't make calls from Line 1 & if someone calls for me, a co worker can't put them on hold on line 1. Ughhh! ANYBODY know?

There is a button, I believe top left, it has the word check on it. Leave the handset in the cradle, press the check button, press line 1, document what comes up in the display and post it here.
Press the flashing speaker key to put the phone back into idle state.
