Hoping someone can clarify what the current model of IP phone is that comes in the bundled kit.

According to NEC, it is the BE117453 but when I check on NTAC, the only reference to the self labeling phones is the 8IPLD which references to a BE116517. The BE numbers are confusing in addition to the IP7WW numbers and then the DT920, DT930, DTZ, ITZ, ITK, etc of the 9100.

It doesn't really matter to me what the exact part number is, but I am looking to install a Plantronics wireless headset and wanted to confirm the APD-80 was the correct cable.

On the SV9100 or SV8100 digital or IP phone I think you are looking for an APN-91. When you turn the phone over and pop the little access open you will see a little mini connector. On the SV8100 the headset key MUST be on key 25 and on the SV9100 I don't think it matters.

Plantronics would go by the model number which is IP7WW-8IPLD-C1

FYI: The IP7WW-8IPLD-C1 phone when connected to the SL2100 will boot up as a 32 button phone, when connected to the SV9100 it will boot up as a 8 button phone, you have to purchase licenses to open the remaining buttons.

Yah, I've used the APN-91 on the 8100/9100 but the cable NTAC is saying to use on the 8IPLD is the APD-80 which, from looking at the Plantronics website, doesn't have the same mini connector.
